Often misunderstood and underestimated, ostriches are fast, powerful, and completely unapologetic. They don’t blend in. They don’t ask permission. Neither do we. We coined the word Ostrichized to celebrate choosing your own path—and standing tall while you do it.

Ostrichized didn’t come from a trend. It came from lived experience.
I’m a queer person in long-term recovery, and for a long time I felt what so many people feel when they choose to drink differently: welcome everywhere, yet fully at home nowhere. I believed there had to be a future where opting out of alcohol didn’t mean opting out of connection, celebration, or joy.
So I built it.
Ostrichized is a new kind of brew — tropically refreshing, non-alcoholic beer (≤0.5% ABV), crafted with intention, full flavor, and zero apologies. It’s made for people who still want to show up, take up space, and enjoy the moment on their own terms.
Because the truth is, the non-alcoholic world isn’t one story or one path. Some of us are sober-curious. Some are healing. Some are navigating recovery. Some just don’t feel like drinking tonight — or ever. Labels don’t matter here. You do.
Most people are recovering from something, even if it isn’t alcohol. We’re recovering from isolation. From disconnection. From being asked to shrink in order to belong. I know what it feels like to be othered — to be ostracized for being different.
That’s exactly why Ostrichized exists.
