Building Our Flock

While building Ostrichized, I also became the Community Relations Manager at The Minnesota Alliance of Recovery Community Organizations (MARCO), where I connect grassroots recovery efforts to statewide systems change.
My two roles — as founder and advocate — are deeply intertwined. Both are about belonging, visibility, and rewriting the narrative around recovery.
The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild
Thank you to the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild for the opportunity to participate at the MN Brewers Conference. It was an honor to join the 'Sobriety: Non-Drinkers as Customers and Staff' panel. It's not every day that individuals in recovery are represented in the brewery space, and I’m grateful to see the industry evolving. Kudos to the Guild for leading the way on inclusion and broadening the conversation.
